Reagan is a shy, quiet, college student with a penchant for acting. Adam is a hunky, smart, student athlete on the college hockey team and he lives across the hall from Reagan. Oh, and his sister Ginny is one of Reagan’s best friends (and she is dating one of his teammates/roommates). Reagan has had a crush on Adam for two years and has only said something to her best friends about, but the other guys in their group have figured it out while Adam remains clueless. Until Adam needs a date to a college function so he can get a leg up on a med school scholarship and he is currently single. In steps his friend Reagan and somehow, they end up fake engaged.

 Reagan’s self-confidence grows as she comes out of her shell and tells Adam about her crush on him. She also decides to audition for a role in the play that is not her typical “go to” role. She grows stronger in her assertions but still feels like her relationship with Adam has an expiration date. She knows what she wants but she is afraid to ask for it.

 Meanwhile Adam seems to have always had a girlfriend in the past and then moves on quickly after they break up. He keeps saying it is different with Reagan and does not want to define or label their relationship. Deep down he is falling for her, he is just having trouble telling Reagan.

 As they navigate thru life, there are many emotions, drama, and fun with their friends. I like how Adam’s teammates/roommates always have is back and are there to support him any way they can. Reagan’s best friends do the same for her, consoling her after bad blind/first dates and threatening Adam that he better treat her right.

 Beautifully written love story that will grab your attention. This is the second book in the Campus Nights series and can be read as a complete standalone. I have not read book one yet but have added it to my TBR so I can find out how Ginny and Heath found each other.

A FEW     MORE WORDS FROM ME....

I am a big hockey romance fan and I particularly enjoy reading about the actual games, the plays, the goals, the locker room humor, and the fights!  If you do not care for the sports part of sports romance, you would like this book. They mention going to practice, games, workouts, etc. but it does not go into very much detail. The story is more focused on the romance aspect. Even though I like the sports part as well, I love this book!

Not sure if you noticed, but I usually rate the books using 🌸🌸 in place of stars to represent my love for flowers and floral design. I thought it was most appropriate to use 🏒🏒for this book 
when I saw it on my tablet. I am all about the themes lately.
