A Small Town Romance with All the Feels

Beautifully written, Ms. Gunn has once again hit it out of the park! This is a great story to start off this new series.

Liam Strong is forced to return home and start his life over after a medical discharge from the Navy. He is not a happy camper, is broody and unsure of what he wants, or rather he thinks he deserves, in life. He decides to use his background as a trauma surgeon to open an urgent care clinic in his hometown.

 Sophia Parker is a young doctor who is wanting a fresh start and a quieter/slower pace at work so she can spend more time with her young son. She is strong, independent, smart, beautiful, and feisty. Sophia accepts a position at the clinic after interviewing with a recruiting agency.

From the moment they meet, there is chemistry that is so hot it’s off the charts. The situations they get into will make you laugh out loud and so will their banter. Emotions run high as they navigate work and life. Liam’s brothers are a riot, teasing him and trying to egg him on.
