A cute, second chance, small town romance with a sweet & tender alpha male who is deeply in love with the smart & beautiful daughter of the town’s mechanic. When Sarah buys Huck at a bachelor auction, he thinks that it will lead to them getting back together six years after he broke up with her. Huck does not get his wish that night, but maybe one day. 

Throughout the book, we learn the truth of everything that had happened previously including how Claire came to live with Huck. Claire is his cute, five year old daughter who keeps him on his toes by being inquisitive. I love when she asks Huck if he is finding her a Mommy, it made me laugh out loud. 

You can tell that Huck is still in love with Sarah by the way he acts towards her, remembering her dreams, and encouraging her to reach her goals.
