Suspense, Mystery, and Romance

OMG! I am in love with the story of Ella and Zander 💜

First — if you don’t like cliffhangers or have no interest in needing to read two books to get the whole story, then this book is not for you. If you don’t mind those, you only have to wait two months for the conclusion in “Love the Way You Hold Me”.

This story is written from both Ella and Zander’s points of views and includes a forbidden relationship, D/s role play, mysterious moments, angst, and suspense. I love the instant chemistry that Ella and Zander have from the moment their eyes meet. The suspense of ‘will they, won’t they’ is fun, the two of them engage in some bantering and teasing that will make you smile, and the way Zander gets Ella to open up is amazing.

Zander enjoys taking care of Ella but he has his own trauma from the past, so he tries hard to deny his attraction to her at first. You eventually find out that Ella tried to commit suicide and that landed her in a mental health facility but not what caused her to try to kill herself. Ella’s manager, Kamden, seems a bit sketchy by trying to control her and what goes on around her. I can’t help to think maybe he had something to do with her suicide attempt.

This book leaves me with so many questions about what happened in the past to bring Ella to this point in her life and what the future holds for her and Zander. I am looking forward to the conclusion of their story!
