MY FAKE HUSBAND
NEW RELEASE BY NATASHA L. BLACK
Before I get to the new release, I
would like to ask you to pray for one of my adopted nephews (AB3*) as he has
surgery this morning on his foot. He is three and a half and unfortunately not
his first surgery (tubes prior) but my heart goes out to him 💙.
A few weeks ago, he
stepped on a shard of a broken Corelle plate, and it has been stuck in his foot
since. If you have ever seen how Corelle plates shatter and spread, you will
understand how this happened despite sweeping the floor three times.
Why that is happening, I
will be entertaining AB4** at his house. He is so cute and cuddly that I am
sure we will have a great time playing.
Natasha L. Black released a new book on May 5th and it is the second book in the Rockford Falls Romance series. Each book in the series is a standalone, but they are interconnected with a few crossover characters. If you like small town romance, I recommend you read this series. Hot Cop is out now and The Lumberjack's Nanny will be released on May 26th.
Happy Reading,
Kris
MY REVIEW
The way Damon takes care of Trixie with the breakfasts, moving her from the couch to the bed, sending dinner to the shop, and more shows how in love with her he is. The way Trixie waits up for Damon after the fire, wants to yell at the fire chief on his behalf, makes dinner for him, and more shows her true feelings. They are both very sweet and romantic soulmates.
It was great to get a little life update on Laura and Brody (Damon’s sister and his best friend) from “Hot Cop”. Laura’s love of teasing Damon is awesome and of course Brody gets in the action. Damon’s family in general are funny and supportive for the marriage to become real. Trixie’s family has their fun as well. Her mom giving her the birds & the bees talk is a riot.
This is a small town romance with humor, romance, angst and more, is written from dual point of views, and is a complete standalone.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily giving an honest review
