Happy Reading,

*B7 is one of the "middle of the pack" nephews going by age (there are twelve altogether) and his nickname is Squirrel because he gets distracted way to easily.
I have given my nieces and nephews a code to go by to help protect their privacy.
TEMPTED BY THE CEO
BY IONA ROSE
BLURB
Opal
Well, well, well, Brett O'Connell, the boss's bad-tempered, brilliant, insufferable son is going to take over the business while his father recuperates in hospital.
Not sure how I feel about this actually.
The man is as sexy as sin obviously. I mean, don't even get me started on that firm, neat butt of his. And there are enough sparks flying between us to set a whole forest on fire, but I don't generally go for overbearing, difficult, growly men.
This man is all that and more.
So...what to do?
Burn a whole forest down or pour a bucket of ice into my bath water every night.
Kinda liking the forest idea better at the moment.
A Full length Standalone CEO Office romance with HEA.
MY REVIEW
by Iona Rose
A secret office romance, a distanced
family relationship, and lots of sweet & steamy sex have Opal and Brett
trying to make things work. Their connection is apparent from the moment they
meet and the each try to deny what is happening. There is romance, happiness,
angst, drama and more.
The banter between them at the
dinner part is fun and easy going. Brett appears to be a jerk of sorts at first
because he keeps trying to convince himself that a relationship with Opal would
be wrong. Opal has her own thoughts along the same line but becomes bold enough
to invite him into her apartment after the dinner party.
I enjoyed the scenes of their first
full weekend together, each being romantic and loving towards each other. You
can tell they are genuinely interested in each other given their conversation
at dinner that Sunday night. Plus keeping the staff there after closing without
realizing it tells you how much in tune they are with one another. I also liked
how they were mature enough to keep the relationship separated from work and
neither took advantage of the other.
Intriguing story with steamy &
sweet sex scenes, a positive example of a mature relationship, with laughter
and friendship. Told from Opal’s point of view, I had trouble putting this book
down and Ms. Rose is quickly become one of my new favorite authors.
I received a complimentary copy of
this book and am voluntarily giving an honest review
